Transportation
The City of Nashua provides public transportation throughout the city, with stops on Main Street near the hospital. Visit www.nashuarpc.org/citybus for fares and schedules, and see Route 7. Or call (603)880-0100 x 203.
Security and Safety
Both The Medical Center Main Campus and the West Campus have security guards on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure a safe environment.
- All Medical Center employees, volunteers, contractors, students and providers wear photo ID badges for your safety.
- We use video recording in some public areas and select patient care areas, such as The Birth Place.
- To best safeguard your valuables, please do not bring them to the hospital. If you have, please send them home with a family member. Secure storage is available through our Security office. Ask your nurse to contact Security if you would like to use the hospital safe. Some patient rooms have a personal safe and may be used at your own risk. The Medical Center will only be responsible for valuables that are stored with our Security office. Valuables and belongings that have been stored there will be returned to you before you leave. You are responsible for your own personal items such as eyeglasses, dentures or hearing aids.
- Patients and visitors are not allowed to carry weapons. If you come to the hospital with a weapon, tell a nurse so that our Security office can provide secure storage.
- For your safety, we practice fire and emergency drills regularly. If a drill occurs while you are in the hospital, do not become alarmed. Stay in your room and await instructions from our staff.
- Use only battery-powered items. Hairdryers are available in each patient room.
- Aerosol products (spray cans) and open flames are not allowed anywhere in the hospital because oxygen equipment is nearby.
