Welcome to the Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate!

Diabetes affects 20.8 million children and adults in the United States, and that figure is rising each year. Although it is not known exactly what causes diabetes, genetics and environmental factors such as obesity and lack of exercise seem to play a role.

At Southern New Hampshire Medical Center we are proud to partner with the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston - internationally recognized as a leader in diabetes treatment, clinical research, and patient and professional diabetes education since 1898. The Joslin Diabetes Center is associated with Harvard Medical School.

As the only Joslin Diabetes Center affiliate in southern New Hampshire, we bring together board certified endocrinologists and certified diabetes educators, including nurses, registered dietitians, and exercise counselors to work with you to manage your diabetes and meet your individual needs.

On this site, you will meet our Joslin team, find out information about nutrition classes, learn about our diabetes education programs, and find links to even more diabetes resources.
