We understand the important connection between physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The Medical Center provides the only comprehensive behavioral health services in the greater Nashua area. With ACCESS (Acute Community Crisis Evaluation Service System), these services are available all day, every day.

Our Behavioral Health team provides a full spectrum of personalized psychiatric care, specifically aimed at helping patients of all ages overcome the effects of psychological difficulties, face life’s obstacles and challenges, and strive to achieve their full potential.

The multidisciplinary inpatient team includes board certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, behavioral health assistants, social services staff, and group leaders with special training in occupational and recreation therapy.

We care for patients who require psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis, psychosocial support, medication evaluation or adjustment, stabilization of symptoms, or short-term substance abuse medical detoxification.

The Medical Center collaborates with other community care providers to deliver behavioral health services where they are needed, and provides training in nursing, social work, and mental health counseling for students in local colleges and universities.
