Frequently Asked Questions

What is Med-Peds?

This specialty combines primary care and preventive medicine for both adults and children. Physicians who train in this field must complete residency programs and become board-certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine. Training includes experience in intensive care and hospital care for all ages - from newborns to the elderly - as well as outpatient and preventive services for infants, children and adults.

What Services does Medicine-Pediatrics of Nashua Provide?

We provide and coordinate in-hospital care for patients of all ages, as well as:

- Routine, preventative care for children, adolescents and adults;

-Same-day sick visits for adults and children;

-Care for children, adolescents and adults with special health care needs and chronic health conditions;

-Employment, school, athletic, and camp physicals;

-Developmental and behavorial milestone screenings.

Can expecting parents meet the Med-Peds physicians before choosing a pediatrician for their unborn child?

Parents need to develop a certain trust when choosing a doctor to care for their newborn child.  Medicine-Pediatrics of Nashua invites soon-to-be parents to their "Meet the Pediatrician" nights, which are scheduled on a monthly basis, to give them an opportunity to meet the physicians and learn about the practice.    They encourage parents to call the office to register.
