If you are a current patient of the practice and are in need of an appointment, please call as early in the day as possible so that we can assess your needs. We will do our best to get you an appointment if you are ill for the same day if available. Routine appointments are scheduled in advance. When waiting for a call back from our office or from an on-call provider, please remove all call-blocking features from your phone as this may delay our returned call.
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so that we may complete the necessary paperwork and get everything ready for your visit. If your insurance requires a co-pay, that will be collected at the check-in desk.
We ask for a 24-hour notice in order to accommodate other patients. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment if you arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled appointment time as this will impact other patient visits.
In the event of a life-threatening emergency (such as a heart attack or loss of consciousness), call 911 or your local emergency number immediately or go directly to the nearest Emergency Department (ED) by ambulance. If your problem is not life threatening, always call our office at 603-672-7600 before seeking care as your insurance plan may require that our office authorize your emergency care.
Your copay for an emergency hospital visit is usually listed on the front of your insurance card. If you have questions regarding an emergency visit, please refer to the member services department of your insurance plan.
When the office is closed during evenings, weekend, or holiday hours, a designated provider (doctor or nurse practitioner) will be on-call to answer your questions and guide you to appropriate care. This could save you a trip to the ED and a higher copay. Remember that your primary care provider (PCP -your own doctor or nurse practitioner) or a covering provider may need to authorize care if you go to the ED in order for your visit to be covered by your insurance plan.
On your arrival at the ED, a triage nurse will evaluate your condition and direct you to an appropriate area within the ED for your care. If you are to be admitted to the hospital, the ED will call our on-call provider. If you are not admitted, a summary of your visit will be sent to your primary care provider.
We understand that the cost of medical care can be unexpected. We will work with you to make payments as reasonable as possible. We will answer all your questions, and make sure that you understand everything about your bill. Learn more about our Prompt Pay Discounts.
